Refund policy

RETURN AND REFUND (if applicable)

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with tag and must be returned and refund within 7 working days and the amount will be refunded in customer's mode of payment. This is applicable for all domestic (within India) returns. Please note that for our international customers, returns are not always possible due to logistic issues. This is because return shipments to India attract substantial duty/tax charges  and more often than not are not able to cross logistical and customs hurdles and consequently, never reach back to us. For international returns, the freight to India, duty/tax payment at port of entry in India and freight back to respective country is to be borne by the customer. Please note international returns are only possible for exchange. On international orders, we offer exchange provided above conditions are fulfilled but we do not offer refund on international orders. REFUNDS AND RETURN (upon return)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of the return. 
If approved, then your refund will be processed through a store credit note that can be redeemed on your next purchase. A credit note can only be used for in-store purchases on www.shopmedhya.com and cannot be redeemed in cash.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)

We only replace/exchange items if they are defective or damaged from our end or there is a size issue. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at medhyajodhpur@gmail.com. It must also be in the original packaging with tag and must be returned within 7 days. 

Please note that for international orders, exchanges might not be possible because return shipments to India attract substantial duty/tax charges and more often than not are not able to cross logistical and customs hurdles and consequently, never reach back to us. For returning or exchanging their item/items unless the product was received in a defective condition, the customer will be responsible for paying their own shipping costs as well as duty/tax payment on the return shipment charged by Indian customs at port of entry into India. 

Depending on where the customer lives, the time it may take for the exchanged product to reach the destination, may vary.

ORDER DELAY

We try and do our very best to fulfil all orders within the specified timeline (20-23 days at present) but at the same time we must reiterate and reaffirm that since  we are a make-to-order brand with a predominantly hand-intensive production cycle (including handwoven textiles, hand block printing, hand embroideries and hand finishing of garments), some human related delays cannot be avoided many a time. This is because unlike a fast fashion garment (which are made via automated mechanisms), a Buna garment is a slow made and soulful piece of art with character and a story and consequently can face hurdles and human errors before it becomes a perfect piece deserving to be worn by our customers. We have to make sure that everything is perfect and impeccable before it reaches our customers so that it can grace their wardrobe for years to come. 

Please note that our delivery timeline is not final rather approximate and though 90% of the times all orders are fulfilled well within the timeline, on other occasions some orders are liable to get a little delayed due to the hand-intensive nature of our production or logistics issues such as holidays of shipping companies. An order from our end will be delayed only if there is a genuine limitation at our end with regards to the hand-intensive nature of our production or a logistics (shipping) issue beyond our hands. In such a situation, our team would be working tirelessly to make sure the order is dispatched/forwarded as soon as possible. Please note by purchasing from Buna Studio, you are agreeing to our purchasing terms, conditions and policies which includes that we do not offer cancellation and refund on delayed orders as they would be already in the production cycle. We will keep you updated if your order is delayed and send it at the earliest possible date. Be assured that in such a scenario, an order becomes a top priority for us and our production and merchandising team would leave no stone unturned to make sure that the order reaches you at the soonest date.

DISCOUNT/SALE

Please note during Sale, return, exchange and refund will not be applicable. Exchange will be entertained only if product has a problem or defect.
